·                      Coordination and supervision of two international contractors, across several specialties (Civil, Electrical, HVAC, and Classified Telecommunications Installation & Operations) for an extremely demanding client.

·                      Communications project upgraded not only the camp’s communications capacity, but also its required cooling capacity from five to twenty tons of cooling.

·                      All required quality testing passed (100%) during respective initial-testing phase (material placements, concrete work, mandrel testing, and grounding testing).

·                      Upgraded prime power by “swapping” and upgrading transformer feeds.

·                      Prime Power upgrade required generator backup to the new prime power distribution (with new ATS), associated cabling and power-panel placements - MDP (Main Distribution Panel), and critical and non-critical panel placements.

·                      Led the team, facilitated, and project managed the placement of two redundant UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies) during primer power and generator power transition were placed to address and power-service gap.

·                      Maintained a “live” network in a extremely congested facility, during facility upgrade.

·                      Assign and supervise design engineering process for the engineering reach-back contract, requiring determination of the most economically and technically feasible options integrating into on-going construction efforts. This was facilitated with weekly project development meetings.

·                      Additional functions include engineer for civil and electro-mechanical systems.

Achievements:

·                      Overcame program challenges including: inadequate funding, synchronization construction efforts by combative contractors, low skill set of local contractors, inadequate primary design and contracts, poor construction practices, understaffing of projects to achieve contract schedule at both labor and supervisory levels, critical electro-mechanical equipment left out of original construction contract, on-going security problems, working within the confines inherent with a large bureaucracy, stakeholder turnover during construction phase.
